I've never much liked the classical still life paintings, they bore me. As much as i do admire the skill it requires to paint them in the dutch/flemish style, fruit and cups and other stuff on tables, its not the most interesting subject matter. For me, doing a still life was a way to gain a further appreciation for the subject matter and skill it takes to create a still life, i just needed to add my own flare to it of course. My fascination with the skill it takes to create still life paintings and my love of graff and street art have come together here.
Its not plain fruit, its dope fruit.
