This artwork is based on an abstract sketch i did quickly whilst on a bush walk through the Royal National Park near Sydney. Developed somewhere along the coastline near Wedding Cake Rock, i was captivated by the rock forms of the coastline and the reflection of the sun on the water.
This piece is particularly experimental for me as I'm applying a new process that i've only used on my recent portraits, nevertheless I think it lends itself to this landscape quite well.
