Painted in watercolour and gouache, this painting shows how spiritual growth occurs by the concentric circles radiating from the centre. This spiritual growth occurs during and after the trip for Hajj in a Muslim's lifetime.
The 7 rings depict the 7 circles of tawaaf that Muslims complete in their Hajj or Umrah.

The concentric circles have been painted using varying shades of one of my favourite colours: Payne's gray. This gradation in the watercolours which give a unique effect to the artwork. The gold on the Kabah has been painting with a matte shiny gold gouache.
