I have always loved to paint windmills & their movement in the landscape.
Ă–land is an island off the southern coast of Sweden.
In Autumn the wild white swans that have harboured & nested all summer along the coast begin their migration as they always have, flying low over the Viking runes & ancient wooden windmills before rising to form long skeins, taking the updraft over the Ă–land Bridge that links the island to the mainland. signed
