Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
The Eucalyptus blossoms are usually the big attention grabbers, but in this painting I wanted to show how they come to be by painting the fluorescent pink buds. It seems like they are about to burst. Nature cleverly puts the colour red against the complimentary green.
This Eucalyptus is Corymbia ficifolia (Red Flowering Gum) which is endemic to a tiny area in the south west corner of Western Australia, but is grown Australia wide to beautify our streets and neighbourhoods.
You will love this painting in your home. It will brighten your home and impress your visitors. There is a tiny moth hiding in the shadows. Can you spot him?
It is an oil painting on canvas, 51cm by 61cm, varnished and painted around the sides, so doesn’t need decorative framing. Ready to hang.
