I've had this map of Melbourne before and it's an opportunity to use ink instead of paint, given the background isn't the usual colourful conglomeration. A few others in the works, including one using Semco ephemera from the 1960s. All of my repurposed backgrounds are original papers that are decades old and show evidence of their previous lives. Edges turned with paper if possible, otherwise painted white.
