Harmony in Nature is the 5th and final piece in a small series called 'Harmony'.
Each depicts a state of being that brings harmony to my own existence.
The entire series was influenced by my life drawing days. I have always loved the female form, from portraits to fashion illustration, I seem to draw from the feminine energy around and within me.
In addition, nature herself plays an enormous role in my maintaining / checking in with my own mental health. Times of stress, anxiety, worry and sadness, eased with time spent in nature. Often I need to simply sit and be still in nature, listening only, at other times taking my activities outside cures my woes.
In terms of size, I wanted to create a smaller artwork, test myself with a smaller space that still fits in with the series. I also like to offer buyers a varied assortment of sized art, I know for my personal collection I like to collect all sized and different framed artworks.
