This is a story told as a trio of three Turner style seascapes where there is a dramatic sky above the coast. There are deep red browns and strong dark skies with the sunset sending the skies and beach ablaze in the early evening light. The three works are called Advancing Storm, Stormy Inlet and Safe Harbour.

Advancing Storm shows the power of the building storm in the clouds and its impact on the sea. The storm is coming in from two sides and the skies look like they are erupting whilst the sea is choppy and dark against the rocks. The true power can be felt as the anticipation builds.

Stormy Inlet shows the buffeting white capped ocean as the water pounds the coast and the storm threatens. The sky and clouds are ablaze with light and the darkness is descending at the same time in the advancing clouds.
Safe Harbour shows the calming of the water as once again the sunset warms the beach and water lapping the shore. All is quiet on this stretch of the coast now but the magnificence and power of nature has been told in all its spectacular glory.

These are moody atmospheric works that together have a big presence and celebrate the power and beauty of Nature. These paintings would look great hung in a study or office and have infinite interest as you study the clouds and atmosphere of the works.
