The Deep Water collection of prints was inspired by a reflection in the water I came across during a walk in a rainforest in the Currumbin Valley. The landscape inspired a body of artworks including photography, etchings and a painting. This etching has been hand printed and has a velvety rich finish with layers of ink including transparencies which add to the richness of the artwork. The image has a meditative feeling and gives a sense of relaxation. The artwork is in a ready made simple frame which has a a hook on the back, it can also stand freely on a surface due to the thickness of the frame, see photo. The work can easily be taken out of the frame in the mount and be custom framed if preferred. My series of mini prints also look great in multiples, groupings.
