Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

Kata Tjuta is a Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal word meaning “many heads”
Fascinated by these often overlooked giant soaring stone domes I was inspired to paint them as apposed to their often painted famous neighbour – Uluru which is only 50 kilometres away.
This stylistic heavy textured painting captures the far horizons, space and colours of the breathtaking desert landscape.
