Oils and oil sticks have been used on a heavy triple primed canvas with an exterior oak shadow box frame, designed for both landscape and portrait hanging.
I wanted each color to have its own mood and to stand alone with bold transitions of color explosions. The piece has been finished with gambling cold wax medium which gives a matt finish.
