I had an idea to take on of my previous works style "variegated" and make it a little larger.
At first I wanted to copy the pale pastel colours but being a bigger work I wanted to try for more impact. I mixed colours together (green with blue, red with purple, pruple with red and blue with green) to deepen the areas and to try and 'make the connection'.
The lines and flow originally came from an idea of leaves blowing in the wind but in the end it looked like a magical force connecting the areas.
