Shallow Waters acrylic on 50cm round canvas recalls the clear waters of turquoise where sand bars a visible in shallow water. Gentle ocean currents are visual in the translucent layers of phthalo green and blue. The sfumato technique of soft hazy colour give this work a tranquil quality.
