I had many desires when I was a child. I wanted lots of toys, wanted to go out and play, and longed to be beautiful and love cosmetics like all little girls do. But at that time, I was praised for knowing how to behave when I didn't ask my parents for toys, and sometimes my wishes were not satisfied even when I expressed them. So later on, I would say no to things I wanted again, and I can still remember now the feelings of longing.
I have loved sequins and glitter since I was a child and until now, when I see these in craft shops, I am drawn to them. I saw the jars of glitter in the shop again recently and they are no longer expensive for me. So, I bought them all and I wanted to paint my childhood desires with these glittering materials to compensate for my past and present self.
