The focal point of the painting is a lavender stem on top of which a bee sits. This is surrounded by more lavender and other flowers which appear to grow in a lush wildflower arrangement. In the background is first a patch of light grass, then two lavender fields. The colours grow darker as they recede. Behind the fields are more grassy hills spotted with trees, and finally some blue mountains deep in the distance. A cloudy sky sits above it all.

The background features a purple wash adorned with small transparent purple flowers and dark green/blue leaf shapes. In the center there is a pink/purple native lasiandra flower with small water droplets on its five petals. To the left, there are various leaves in different shapes and shades of green, along with two small black glossy fruits. On the right there is a blue tongue lizard, its body curved out from behind the flower, with its tongue sticking out toward it.

There are 7 small square paintings. There are a variety of subjects, one portrait of a man, two of a young woman (wrapped in a blanket & at the beach), water, a mug in a rainy window, a sunflower and hands slicing up an orange.
