Australia's Laughing Kookaburra is one of my favourite birds. To me, they symbolise that life is good especially in Australia where we are free and without wars. Kookaburras set the example of laugh, eat, sleep and do it all over again. You'll often see a Kookaburra perched on a branch, most likely that of a gum tree, head slightly on a slant as it eagerly focuses on potential dinner below.
This Kookaburra will always remind you of the lucky land we live in.

Mission: I love exploring the intricacies of nature then paint my interpretation. I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and brightens up a space in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
