Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Eastern Spinebill Perched in Grevillea" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting. It measures 25cm x 32cm and is unframed.

Eastern Spinebills frequent our garden in particular the Grevillea. They remind me of Hummingbirds although just a little larger, but can hover just like them. The Eastern Spinebill is a gorgeous little Australian native bird belonging to the Honeyeater family. With their golden hues and white bib trimmed with black, it's always a pleasant sight having them in the garden.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images: For best online screen-viewing, this painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as true as possible.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, requiring a signature upon receipt.
