"Fantasy in Indigo 2 " by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

This is the fourth painting in my new abstract series, and an ideal companion to "Fantasy in Indigo 1"
Painted in shades of indigo , a little soft yellow and Kyanite Genuine which is a light version of Indigo with a shimmer to it.

I let the paint flow freely from the heart, not the mind. By doing so, I was uncertain of what would emerge on the paper, merely waiting to discover the outcome. The brush seemed to move on its own... and when the mind attempted to intervene, I paused, took a breath, and resumed only when I felt prepared.

In the second part of the painting, I observed and contemplated the emerging patterns and found a complementary still life within the curls and shapes including a piping hot delicious cup of coffee, kitchen jug with utensils and a bird flying through a hoop.

I have emerged from this experience feeling rejuvenated, and I hope this painting also brings you joy.
