Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Meeting of the Rays at Bendalong" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

Inspired by the very friendly Stingrays at Bendalong Boat Harbour Beach. They are a real attraction and joy for everyone. You can swim with them and feed them if you wish. Here they are about to have a meeting. This painting shows the boat ramp in dappled shade by the trees on the grassy area, then bending around the corner to the rocks where you can see two fish cleaning stations in the water that have no doubt been around for a while. I have recreated the texture in the foreground tree for a special bit of interest.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images:  For better on-screen viewing, the painting has been professionally scanned depicting the colours as true as possible.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
