"The Gong's Nature Sanctuary" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting fully framed and ready to hang.

I've been spending some time exploring the beautiful area around Wollongong's Hospital, whilst my husband was occupying a bed there. Between visits I found Wollongong's Botanical Gardens. I absolutely loved the "Duck Pond" with its fabulous Rotunda and view to Mt Kiera seen in the background. Mt Kiera stands over the city like a guardian and can be seen from just about everywhere.
Bright flowers adorn the perimeter of the pond and tall Palm trees are scattered around the grounds.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
