"The Old Hay Shed" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting.

Another interesting old property somewhere in the Bathurst region. This shed has seen better days, but it still stores some hay and a ladder or two, not to mention the thirst-quenching bathtub out to the side. I love rural properties and admire the work that goes into working the land. They come in all shapes, sizes and states. I often take photos straight out of the moving vehicle. Then, when I go through my photos later, I try to imagine the scene the way I saw it, and this puts a whole new perspective on my inspiration.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.
