In The Blue Mountains, NSW, AU.
I Took This Photo, While Exploring The Charming, Mountain Community Of Oberon for the First Time. It was the Day Before My 60th Birthday. While I was Staying With My Friend Marta, And Her Family, at Their Lovely Home in Oberon. They Had Invited Me To Stay With Them That Weekend, To Help Me "Celebrate" My 60th Birthday, On the Following Day. My Beloved Late Husband, John Had Died Tragically A Little Over 2 Months Before. They Didn't Want Me To Be ALONE, On My 60th Birthday. They Were Very Kind, Thoughtful And Gracious Hosts, During My Stay With Them. They Arranged To Come Pick Me Up From The Small Villa At St Marys, That John and I Rented, A Year Before He Died A Terrible Death At "Home", In My Arms. Where I Still "Live" As I Write This.
Marta And Her Daughter Arrived On Fri. We Began To Make The Long Drive Up Into the Blue Mountains To Oberon. I Don't Know If It Was Because I Had So Little Sleep Since John Had Died... Or Because The Drive Was So RELAXING, And Their Company Was Such A "BALM" For My Troubled Soul. But I Think I DOZED OFF, Part Of The Way There. I Needed the REST Badly.
We Arrived To Their Home After Dark. Entered Through The Garden Gate. With Big, Brass Numerals Mounted On The Gate, That Read "60". That Was When I KNEW Synchronicity Was "In-Play". That I Was Meant To Be There Then. Was Going To Turn 60 Years Old AT "60". How Many People Can Say That Their Birthday "Matched" The Place Like That??
"My Room" Was Beautifully Decorated, and Spacious. With A Window that Looked Out Over The Town Of Oberon, With Some Height. An Incredibly Comfortable Bed, With Plenty Of Pillows To Rest My Weary Head Upon. I RESTED At Their Home Until Sunday. When I Felt The URGE TO EXPLORE, At Last. Ventured Out That Day... That's When I Took Some Photos Of Oberon, While I Was Out And About EXPLORING.
This Is One Of The Photos I Took On The Last Day Of My 59th Year (18 Oct 2016). This is an Apple or Crabapple Tree in FULL-BLOOM in Marta's Amazing Gardens, in Their Backyard. BEAUTIFUL.
