This is an artwork that is close to my heart, as it marks an internal shift and distinct new level I felt my artistic practice had achieved.

In life, there are markers that stamp a moment in time where you felt a distinct growth or change in direction. This is one of those markers for my art practice and future body of work.

It was also created just before I found out I was pregnant with my first baby so the connection of future change, new level of lifestyle and hope of dreams achieved was significant.

The sense of new life and rebirth that many viewers have told me of this piece is most likely a reflection of that time
