My paintings are inspired by the beauty of nature. This painting was inspired by a photo I took whilst visiting the Millstream Chichester National Park looking out towards the Chichester Ranges. It was influenced by David Hockney’s style of using colour and a twist of an abstract feel.

This painting tries to capture the utter peace, stillness and expanse experienced sitting out the middle of nature. What can you see? What can you smell? What can you hear? You soak in the glorious sun that shrouds you in warmth and love … and you feel your soul being nurtured by mother nature … and find peace.
