I went out at 6.30 this morning and battled the wind and cold up on an accessible Hill top over looking my home town. Moonambel is the original name given by the indigenous people meaning the Hollow. I did the sky last because I had good light by 7.30, 8 am. I absolutely love painting outside even though the wind was blowing my canvas on top of me, luckily the acrylic dries almost instantly but the down side is you need to keep replenishing your palette. I am getting rather addicted to Plein air painting, and am leaving it in its raw natural state.
