As a child I was always drawn to colour. I would lie in bed in my parents small house in London, freezing in the winter and marvel at my yellow walls in my bedroom and how just looking at them made me feel warm and happy. Colour is emotional, vibrant, energising and there is nothing more pleasurable than layering paint in washes on canvas and hoping for the best. I hope you like this one as much as I enjoyed painting it.
