I find my inspiration outside of my studio and so grab any opportunity I can get to travel and visit new cities. On a recent trip to visit galleries in Sydney, I grabbed a bite to eat at a cafe on Circular Quay and sketched and took photos of the tourists wandering around. Sydney is so breath-taking, but I like to try and capture a different side to this city. The ferries fill Circular Quay and blocked the view of the harbour bridge and the opera house and that is the view that interested me most. I like to represent the real side of life and like to reflect what is going with the tourists and Sydney-Siders.
