These magnificent blooms are a species of Rhododendron that a friend brought into the studio for me paint. The Dandenong ranges in Victoria where I live is the perfect cool rainforest climate these plants love. Spring in the hills is such a colourful time, there's just not enough time to paint everything that is on offer.
