While the day was drawing to an end, and the sky starting to darken, the sun burst through with its last rays bathing the facing hill in glorious colours. This painting draws on a remembered time, enjoying the light at the end of the day in the Kimblerey in Western Australia. The painting has been painted in many layers, and is abstract and expressive. Gold coloured metallic paint add some shimmering highlights.
