The outback of Australia is full of reds, pinks and golds under the end of day glow. Green trees pop up all over. In this painting, a pink road takes us off into the landscape toward distract hills. This painting draws on a remembered time, enjoying the light at the end of the day in the Kimblerey in Western Australia. The painting has been painted in many layers, and is abstract and expressive. It has some added sand-like texture and patches of gold coloured metallic paint to give the painting more interest.
The sides are painted white so it is ready to hang as it is, or a frame can be added as shown in the photos.
