This scene, suggesting a light-filled road leading into a forest of tall trees, emerged through working intuitively with oil and cold wax medium, that is layered and scraped back over many painting sessions. The result is an interesting and complex artwork. The painting will look lovely framed behind a matt border as shown in the in situ photos.
