Acrylic on paper
Signed on the front.
Rubble up the hillside features an abstracted and expressive view of Griselda, the hill that dominates the landscape of the Arkaroola village. Arkaroola is a wildlife sanctuary in the north of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. This is one of a series painted there at a week-long art workshop. This painting was painted in the studio on site in Arkaroola. The painting has a lot of depth and interest.
The painting will look beautiful behind a matt border as shown in the in situ photos, although you could also explore other options with a framer if you prefer to frame it without glass protection. I have previously had a framer mount one of these paintings on paper on board and frame without glass. See for example "In the creek bed of Nooldoonooldoona". See also "In the shelter of the trees" for an option mounting the painting on canvas. Please get in touch if you would like a quote for this.
