The small framed painting will delight you day after day as you look into the depths of the painting to see layers of marks, textures and colours. It is painted in oil and cold wax, which produces a wonderful matt surface, built up with many layers of paint. It is an abstracted outback landscape, inspired by walking the Larapinta trail, with the golden land and surprisingly green trees. It is one of two paintings painted together - both will be listed for sale. They are framed in chunky pine frames that allow the paintings to stand without supports, or you have the option of hanging them.
