Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
Serenity.
I don't think there are many who do not feel serenity when in the presence of a garden pond, graced by beautiful waterlilies. And this one was even more so, with goldfish gliding beneath the lilypads. It was outside a health care centre, where peace and serenity mean such a lot to patients, as well as carers.
I've loved flowers ever since childhood - even given a dried flower arrangement by an elderly lady who had written "to the little girl who loves flowers". To me, waterlilies were always the elegant 'ballet dancers' in their garden pond environments.
Unframed, but frames are usually readily available in this size 'off-the-shelf, where frames/decor items are sold. It is signed on the front in black archival ink, just above the goldfish - signed after the photo was taken. My signature is not an obvious part of my painting.
There is a small, white (unpainted) border allowance for framing. The image shown framed is just a suggestion and sizing is approximate.
Unframed. Shipped flat.
