Who doesn’t love a weekend market? This painting was created from my own photo resources taken at a Gardeners’ Market on the Sunshine Coast last year. Masks were mandatory and the weather, wet and overcast, should have added a gloomy atmosphere to the scene. In spite of this physical and natural environment Garden Lovers were intent on purchasing gardening needs, flowers and plants to improve their own, or others’, milieu. The atmosphere was relaxing, and there was a poetry of common purpose, yet everything in the scene was transient.
