I love that Emus can be so beautiful and unique and scare you at the same time! I have always been fascinated by their beautiful eyelashes and admired how they fiercely protect their young. And who could forget the wonderful story of the emu wars - in which they won! I hope I have managed to catch a bit of that in this painting.
