Rock'n'roll art lovers, where are you?
James (Jim) Douglas Morrison (December 8, 1943 β July 3, 1971) was an American singer-songwriter and poet who was the lead vocalist of the rock band the Doors. Due to his wild personality, poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, unpredictable and erratic performances, and the dramatic circumstances surrounding his life and early death, Morrison is regarded by music critics and fans as one of the most influential frontmen in rock history. Since his death, Morrison's fame has endured as one of popular culture's top rebellious and oft-displayed icons, representing the generation gap and youth counterculture.
This interpretation of Jim is based on one of their classic album covers. Complement colours red and blue mean that he is striking from a distance. Abstract elements encourage interest.
Colours may appear different on different devices. This painting is framed in a black Tasmanian oak floating frame. There is a little glare in the photo.
It would suit modern decor, or a man cave. Perfect for a Doors lover.
