This Kookaburra is more common in the tropical areas of Queensland. This specimen was a frequent visitor to our garden in Townsville where we used ti live. It is more fierce in countenance that the laughing kookaburra, but it's rich beauty is intensified by the vibrance of the cobalt blue plumage.
