How beautiful is the red umbrella against the turquoise sea! I'm so lucky to have beaches like this close to where I live for inspiration. This piece shows off the jewel like colours that I saw as I walked along the southern part of Glenelg beach in Adelaide. I think the bright colours are complemented by the muted greens of the grass, the colours of the shallow water and the natural linen sides.
This can be made ready to hang frameless with a wire across the back. Alternatively I think this would also look beautiful in a box frame. There is a light gloss varnish applied to bring out the colours and protect the surface.
