I'm a pretty average surfer so I spend a lot of time sitting on my board, staring down at the majestic play of light on the surface of the water around me. It is so calming, it almost puts me into a meditative state.
The colours fuse and sway together and ripple gently with the movement of the waves. This gentleness of both shape and colour is what I wanted to capture in this little artwork. I love the thought of it filling some little space in someone's home or office- adding a special zing to a quiet corner so it makes you smile every time you walk past it. xo
