This painting is inspired by listening to several songs of Ketty Lester while I was improvising and letting go with colors on my canvas for my first layer of paint. Memories from the past when everything was so fresh, innocent and beautiful came back. Sitting under trees and dreaming of the future, everything seemed possible. Where did it go!? We definitely lived as if tomorrow wasn’t there, how different are times now! So to bring back some color and beauty was the first thing I thought of getting deeper into this artwork! I hope that comes across and makes people wonder and ponder and muse about the world and it’s beauty.
