The Little Wrens are much-loved Australian Birds. While the male Wren has a beautiful light and dark blue plumage, the female Wren sport a plain but pretty brownish colour. They live in small groups in shrubby bushes, and I can see them almost every day during my walks around the lake in Forest Lake. Apparently, the male fairy-wrens sings to their eggs and their chicks come out recognising their parent’s unique song.

‘Lonely Female Wren’ is an Watercolour painting on a 10cm x 14cm white Board and framed with a white 14cm x 18cm frame without glass. A hanging wire is attached to the back. The painting is finished with gloss acrylic.
