One of things I love about taking long exposures of the ocean, is the ability such a body of moving water has to create a different effect, every single time… the lines, the softness, the density, the colour of the water in each frame will never be the same. I took a series of different shots at this rocky outcrop in Elliston - at varying exposure lengths - keeping the headland in frame as a constant and contrasting it against the moving ocean below - and each one yielded something unique and beautiful, like brush strokes on a canvas.
