"Blue Mountains Landscape: Waiting for Mum at Breenhold Gardens, Mount Wilson" is another watercolor painting for my Australian Landscapes series. Set in the beautiful and majestic Blue Mountains National Park. This scene was from a stroll around the wonderful Breenhold Gardens in Mt Wilson during the Open Day held in Autumn. There was a lovely lit up area through the opening in the brick wall with the foliage glowing in vibrant fall colours. Our stroll on this beautiful crisp autumn morning, brought us to this corner. Standing beside the trunk of the gum tree and looking towards the light, I wonder how many waited for someone to catch up just at that point.
