Artwork Description

synthetic Yupo paper

Signed on the front.

Frame not included

'Gladioli - A Riot of Colours' was inspired by a reference photo kindly supplied by Hilary Weeks. I have always been drawn and inspired by Nature and I love colours. Loving the glow of the morning sun shining on the vibrant colours of the petals of the Gladioli.
Working on Yupo paper is a challenge in itself but I love the fact that because of it's smooth surface, the colours seem to take on a sheen of their own.
Original painting created in June 2017. Signed on the front.
