Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

If anyone enjoys seeing the foliage of deciduous trees come alive in autumn sunshine, then the quaint mining village of Hill End is just one of many places to visit during Autumn.
As such, this is another landscape of my enjoying the great outdoors series. It's a fair drive for us but well worth it, especially on a bright sunny day. Beautiful crisp clean air and looking back up the street, past the glowing poplar trees, just makes my senses tingle. "Hill End Poplars Glowing in Autumn Sunshine" is another experiment with Baohong watercolour paper.

a landscape in spring of a small side street leading to a quaint cottage with a beautiful large jacaranda tree with what appears to look like clouds of dainty lavender blooms spilling around the cottage with some already fallen.this is an Australian landscape depicting fenced paddocks with grazing sheep, with shrubs and hills disappearing into the foggy morning. With shrubs and flowers and Australian gum trees growing along side the road. a wonderful specimen of the iconic Magpie with his alert eyes watching our every move in order to snatch up any morsel falling to the ground, on a background of iridescent light teal at the top to darker areas and spots towards the bottom.A landscape in Western Queensland of blue skies, distant ranges and plains with a border of various trees and shrubs as one might come across when there is a creek flowing through the countryside. In the foreground of ochre red tones, scattered shrubs, grasses and a couple of Queensland bottle trees with their wide canopy as well as hints of a fence and piles of dead tree branches.
