"Katoomba Waterfall, Blue Mountains" is another creation of mine after a visit to the beautiful Blue Mountains on a sunny winters day. Hubby actually took the lovely reference photo on which I based this landscape. I fell in love with not only the midday sunshine up at the top of the falls, but the gently cascading waters ending in pools of what looked like liquid gold, being the reflections from the sunlight above. Who would have thought there might be golden pools at the bottom of the stairs.
