Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

This is another memory from a trip around NSW and another of 'enjoying the great outdoors' series. We left Mudgee country in the early hours of a Spring morning heading south. In some areas fog had slowly begun to lift and in others one couldn't make out what was in the distance. Definitely a promise of another beautiful day. "Misty Morning over Mudgee Country" is a landscape showing some sheep grazing in their paddocks with the hills in the background more or less shrouded in mist.
Original painting created in November 2021. Signed on the front.

a landscape in spring of a small side street leading to a quaint cottage with a beautiful large jacaranda tree with what appears to look like clouds of dainty lavender blooms spilling around the cottage with some already fallen.a wonderful specimen of the iconic Magpie with his alert eyes watching our every move in order to snatch up any morsel falling to the ground, on a background of iridescent light teal at the top to darker areas and spots towards the bottom.a street scene in the quaint village of Hill End, looking back towards the Royal Hotel with Clarke Street lined with many poplar trees, glowing brightly in autumn sunshineA landscape in Western Queensland of blue skies, distant ranges and plains with a border of various trees and shrubs as one might come across when there is a creek flowing through the countryside. In the foreground of ochre red tones, scattered shrubs, grasses and a couple of Queensland bottle trees with their wide canopy as well as hints of a fence and piles of dead tree branches.
