"Morning Light on the Murray River" was inspired by one of our road trips to the NSW / VIC border a few years back. We went for a walk early one morning along the banks of the mighty Murray River, when we came across this bend in the river, with three gum trees providing wonderful shade, but looking across the river, there were these lovely soft reflections of the other bank, basking in sunlight... a stark contrast to be sure. I just love the serenity and tranquillity of slow moving waters of rivers. Seems to have a wonderful calming effect on me.

The rugged cliffs in the foreground are covered in greenery while the middle ground consists of rolling hills. More rocky formations are seen in the distance creating a dramatic skyline with clear blue skies and scattered clouds adding depth to this painting.varying tones of green foliage along the ragged banks of the slow moving water of the Murray River with the reflections and being in the spring season I added some pastel purple foliage to hint at Jacaranda blooms

Coastal Erosion is an abstract painting featuring vibrant blues, turquoise and gold which when mixed, created a dynamic fluid effect. It has an energetic vibrant mood due to its bright colour palette and dynamic patterns.a conceptual piece of abstract design with patterns and textures of organic cells in our universe in vibrant coloursa misty spring day in the old mining village of Hill End with an old miners cottage with rusty roofs and chimney stacks surrounded by natural shrubs, grasses and trees with a hint of blooming jacaranda treesLilies is a vibrant painting of pink lilies against a colourful abstract background of blues and greens with some touches of yellows and pink, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Texture was created using visible brushstrokes adding movement to the composition. I love how the painting has an overall feel of being lively and colourful.
