This painting can be a part of diptych 183 cm x 61 cm. Each painting features a pair of cockatoos sitting on leaves and branches, enjoying each other company or maybe it’s their first encounter. I have chosen a tropical garden as a peaceful green and blue background for snow-white cockatoos.
I have had a tropical theme in mind for some time. I knew, that I had to do this project and then move on to other things. I didn’t expect it to take this much time, but, well, there were a lot of green tropical plants with lush foliage and numerous leaves to paint.
